Heel Pain Exercises

Here are exercises that help heel pain physio therapists recommend for patients, take your time and if in doubt seek advise from a professional.

1: Long toe flexors

Copy the picture above for postion, placing the affected big toe of the leg up against the wall so it stretches upwards.  The muscle you are working here is the big toe.

2: gastrocnemius



Copy the picture below. With the affected leg straight,  behind you lean your whole bodies weight forwards towards the wall until you feel the stretch in your calf.  Hold the position for 30 seconds.

3: Soleus

As with the last stretch copy the same position but this time bend the affected leg so the stretch can be felt lower in the calf again hold for 30 seconds.
